ABB 6640 Robot installation. 6640 Robot installed to pour PU form into aluminium moulds for the manufacture of seating systems for the automotive industry.

LEV upgrade. Extraction system installed to collect dust particles from the foam seating rework process.

System comprises of 1 blow down filter exhaust unit, supplied from a 90kw motor.

System generates around 75,000 m3/hour of extract from the manufacturing area.

Hydraulic power pack. Hydraulic power pack designed and build using REXROTH parts, comprising of:

22kw motor, internal gear pump, 20 litre 345 bar accumulator, sun cartridges for on-load valve and relief pressure, and proportional valve to control speed of foam pouring.

Plant Reliability. Particle counter installed & commissioned to measure oil cleanness, to ensure micron levels stay between 4-5 micron to allow proportional valves to operate at their maximum capacity.

Electrical Panel upgrades. HMI updated to MP377+ with in-build CPU together with remote I/O to improve respsonse times for control valves, pump / motor ramps.

Rexroth AV10 pump replacement. Pumps were upgraded to AV10, due to drive bearing failure. The pumps provide ISO & poly which are blended together to make PU foam for the manufacture of car seating systems.
